With ten years of experience I am continually excited by my profession. Orthodontics is one of my life passions and I feel privileged to be able to provide orthodontic care for children and adults. When I see an adult smile after aligning his or her teeth who was unable to receive treatment as a child, it gives me the greatest reward. I also love being part of the development of a child through giving him or her self-confidence by creating a beautiful smile. Interacting with families in our upbeat and friendly environment during the process of correcting irregular teeth fills me with a satisfaction that is difficult to describe.
I graduated from SUNY Buffalo Physical Therapy Program in 1992 with a BS degree, Cum Laude, and practiced for four years. Then from SUNY Buffalo Dental School in 2000 I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree, (DDS) and graduated Magna Cum Laude. After dental school I completed a three year Post-Doctoral residency in Orthodontics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where I received my Post Doctotal Certificate in Orthodontics and an additional Masters Degree. I also served as a component president and trustee of a state dental society for two years.
Continuing education is very important to me and I am actively involved in it through my attendance at multiple regional and national orthodontic educational meetings every year. Staying on the leading edge of a constantly evolving science is paramount to giving my patients the best treatment possible. I have also lectured four original presentations to local dental offices and dental hygiene societies on various Orthodontic topics.
I am a native of Vestal, NY and now live in Granby, CT. My wife of 15 years is from the region and we have two children, a dog, a cat, and a fish. When I’m not in the office I enjoy fishing and playing soccer with the kids, fly fishing, and basketball. I enjoy exercise and staying fit.
